Officers 2008-2009
Andrea Donigan: Co-President
As Co-President of the International Thespian Society Troupe 5270 it is my goal to improve the drama department and to make it the best it can possibly be. ITS would like to make sure that all the members and pledges feel welcome and safe in an environment that they can learn and make mistakes in. The Co-Presidents are also here to communicate with school leadership to make sure the drama department is more visible throughout the school and to help get involved in other school activities. As a Co-President I am hear to support and listen to all the Vice Presidents and all the member and pledges that walk through our doors.
Sheiva Khalily: Co-President
I am an officer because I am a dedicated member of International Thespian Society, committed to improving the club in any way I can. As co president, I will connect the thespians to the rest of the school and keep people on the correct track of following through with our goals. My personal goal is to pass on my knowledge to younger students. I hope to see other sides of theatre and become a well-rounded thespian. I plan to be the best I can be and to think in the best interest of the club.
Jarryd Alfaro: VP of ITS - New Pledges/Promotion
Nika Clelland: Co-President
Chris Berger: VP of Tech
I am here to be an officer of the International Thespian’s Society because I love the theatrical arts but more so I love everyone in our department. I also enjoy making new friends through I.T.’S. I am committed to working with everyone in our school but am especially committed to helping the theater arts. I hope to grow as a person, as well as a tech, throughout the year and develop with my fellow Thespians.
Aleksandra Evert: VP of Promotion
I fell in love with Monta Vista Drama from the first day of school my freshman year. I wanted to get more involved with Drama and contribute in every way I knew how. Being an officer of ITS gives me a chance to share something I love with the world. I am committed setting a positive example as a leader and determined to do everything I can to help the department grow and improve and make it the absolute best. I am looking forward to a thrilling year with the ITS Troupe 5270.
Christian Lei: VP of SNL
I am an officer of this troupe because I enjoy theater and want to help spread my love for it to others. I am also an officer because I want to help lead in something I love doing! I am committed on unifying the theater department and getting the awareness of our theater heard more in the school, and the community. I am also committed on leading SNL, making deadlines and taking on extra tasks to help get the troupe to the desired result faster and more efficiently.
Hema Kopalle: VP of Production
I am an officer because I want to involve myself as much as I possibly can in the drama department. Theatre makes me happy. By being an officer, I’m committing myself to the department as a whole, to make it a better place for people to learn and grow, to be safe in. I want to set an example to people, and to help make the most amazing shows seen at MV. If I can show others what a wonderful place drama is, then I’ve done a good job.
Melanie Kim: VP of ITS - New Pledges
Ever since my freshman year, being a part of Monta Vista's Drama Department has been something I have always known I was going to do. I have had an incredible time doing shows and taking part in all of the wonderful events that ITS has planned, and now it's my turn to do my part and give back. Being an officer is just one of the many ways I can contribute to MV Drama, and I hope to help do for others what being part of ITS has done for me.
Anna Crouch: VP of Improv
I’m an officer of ITS because Drama is very important to me and I want to spread the beauty of theater to the world. As an officer I am devoted to managing Monta Vista’s Improv team and supporting my fellow officers.
