Science Textbook List - This list gives you
the most up-to-date textbook information, including ISBN codes, for each of
the science classes at Monta Vista. Each student is provided with a textbook
for the school year.
TESTING
SATII - There are three different SAT-II
Tests that you can take: Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. For the Biology
SATII, there are two options that you can take: E or M. E is for Ecology,
M is for Molecular. The Monta Vista AP Biology program is more molecular focused,
so you may want to take that section. Based on the 2002 scores, students that
took the M version had an average score that was 81 points higher than the
E version. Remember, though, that it is your choice on what to take and you
should look over practice materials to help you make your decision.

Donations - Our department would gladly accept usable donations such as
chemicals, computers (that are current), lab equipment, etc. Please check
with the teacher in charge of the class, or contact the Department Chair if
you have a possible donation.
